About Us

Learn about doma.in, its domain registration and DNS delegation services, and its operator, Show Corporation.

Last Updated

doma.in is a domain registry operated by Show Corporation. We register names such as example.co.fo under the extensions we manage and publish their DNS delegation in the parent zone.

Our Services

The registry maintains records of each domain’s holder, registrant contact, nameservers, DS records, status, and registration, expiry and modification dates. It publishes the NS and DS records of each domain in the parent zone, so that the domain resolves through the DNS provider chosen by its holder. It does not host DNS records, websites or email.

Extensions

Registrations are open under .co.fo, .com.fo, .wz.io and .wz.org. Standard registrations start from $5.00 a year; the pricing page lists the prices for each extension. Some names are reserved, and some are premium names with their own price.

How Registration Works

  1. Sign in and verify your account email address.
  2. Search for a name and place an order for 1 to 10 years. The price is displayed before checkout and confirmed when you place the order.
  3. Pay from your account balance at checkout. Registration is processed after payment.
  4. Set your nameservers, and DS records if you use DNSSEC. The registry publishes them in the parent zone.
  5. Verify the registrant’s email address within 15 days, and renew the domain before it expires.

Anyone can look up a domain’s status, dates, nameservers and DS records through RDAP at https://rdap.cctld.com. Registrant data is withheld there except the country or region, unless the registrant chooses to publish it.

Operator

The registry is operated by Show Corporation, 838 Walker Road, Suite 21-2, Dover, Delaware 19904, United States.
