Naming Rules
- 1 to 63 characters before the extension.
- Letters a to z, digits 0 to 9 and the hyphen (-). Letters are not case-sensitive.
- No hyphen as the first or last character, and no two hyphens in a row.
- Names beginning with xn-- (internationalized names) are not accepted.
- Reserved names are unavailable for registration. Some names carry premium prices. Search results show availability and pricing.
HTTPS
cc.je is on the HSTS preload list built into major browsers, with all its subdomains. Browsers therefore open every name registered under cc.je over HTTPS only, even when a visitor types an http:// address.
A website on these names needs a valid TLS certificate. Without one, browsers refuse to open the site, and visitors cannot choose to ignore the error and continue.
